I've really been enjoying these, although I've been reading along in silence! Keep up the good work :)

I usually pick them up on my iPhone before sleep

Thanks - I suspect that's the case with most people. It would have to be; on average, I get one or two comments per story. and more than a few get no comments at all here.

I genuinely have no idea how many people are actually reading them this time around.

I use j.mp for links on Facebook and Twitter, and I know I get about a dozen and a half clickthroughs via that for each story.

But how many people actually read the stories via their friends' pages, or via RSS feeds, I don't have a clue.

If I have more than 20 or 30 people actually reading every one, I'd be astonished.

Ah well, I pick them up on facebook usually, and click through on my iphone, which is partly why I don't comment, I think of you as a friend here, rather than a friend there. But yes, they are my bedtime stories ... though I'm not sure all of them are ideal for pleasant dreams ;)

Well, if some of them make you feel... uncomfortable, then the story's achieved its aim. :-)
