Nope, not got any of those. Is The Taking Of Pelham One Two Three any good? (Up to the standards of the film, in other words?)

Better than the movie. Better than both the movie and the tv movie.

See, I really like the movie, so that is something.

So do I... but the book's better.

I can tell you two books that no one on my friendslist has besides me:

01: Perfect Love? A Piccadilly Press Anthology
02: The hand-stitched collection of my twincest stories that Cindy made for me. ;)

... I doubt anyone else has Creative Novel Writing by Roselle Angwin either, it was a pretty limited run. ;)

I did think that this would be much easier to write if I'd actually made a book of my fast fictions...

*G* I doubt that, your flist would definitely buy it. I know I would.

Last time I asked people via the blog, there were less than a dozen people who said yes, they'd buy a copy.

You were one of them, as I recall.

Nope, I don't have any of them...

...wish I could have used my dad's books though...I doubt anyone else has a hundred year old copy of Josephus' History of the Jews...

Well, I don't think it's fair to include age/edition/printing as part of the criteria for whether other people have something or not; that's metadata, not content.

#9. No first-edition hardcover, but I do have an ex-library paperback which set me back 80 cents at a second-hand book store a few years ago.

I've got The Brethren around somewhere.
budgie_uk From: [info]budgie_uk Date: September 27th, 2008 09:03 pm (UTC) (Link)
That's three that someone else has.

I shouldn't be surprised, I guess...

I sort of chuckled when I saw the Brethen listed, considering I don't think I'm the only lawyer on your list.
budgie_uk From: [info]budgie_uk Date: September 27th, 2008 09:16 pm (UTC) (Link)
No, but I don't know how many people are interested in the workings of the Burger court...

>04. Bob Woodward & Scott Armstrong, The Brethren

You are wrong, my friend! Not uncommon among Americans who went through law school, I think. (Also, we have more Woodward on our shelves than he deserves, truth be told. I still have a copy of VEIL that I haven't finished.)
budgie_uk From: [info]budgie_uk Date: October 2nd, 2008 10:46 pm (UTC) (Link)
I think I've got five of his: the two on Watergate, the Brethren, one of the five living Presidents (at the time of Publication) and one more, the subject of which I can't remember...
